My Healthiest Life was started by Noelle Quero in 2007 out of a desire to spread the word about all natural products. After a long, successful career as a jewelry designer, which included contracts with Home Shopping Network and QVC as well as four different retail locations, she decided that her passion for health and nutrition was becoming much more important. For years she had been the one making suggestions as well as educating friends, family members and very often perfect strangers on which products to try or avoid. Researching health and nutrition was always a passionate hobby for Noelle and the creation of My Healthiest Life was many years in the making.

After the birth of her second child in 2004, Noelle became even more motivated to take her health and nutrition 'hobby' to a whole new level once it was realized that her son had been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Through years of non-stop research and education she became even more fascinated with the bodies ability to heal itself through diet, exercise and nutritional supplementation. She realized that if she could turn her passion for health, nutrition and research into a website where people could read about what makes a product healthier than the next and why, then she would be doing something that was truly in her heart. Noelle wanted to let people know that there is often a vast difference regarding quality, healthy ingredients and manufacturing standards within the 'Natural Product' industry. She found people coming to her already confused with which product was the better one to buy because the product labels were stating 'Organic' or 'All Natural' or 'Healthy'. More and more companies over the last few years have been able to loosely label their products with these terms because they use a few 'natural' or 'organic' ingredients yet are still using many chemicals and unhealthy ingredients at the same time. This applies to many product categories. So, Noelle decided to focus the intent of My Healthiest Life on calling attention to only the 'Best of the Best' in all natural products.

We look for products that are truly what they claim to be. If the label says 100% natural, then we want to make sure it is 100% natural. We know that labels should have a short list of ingredients and when the ingredient list starts getting really long, with a bunch of words none of us can pronounce, then that product is probably not going to make our list. Not that it automatically disqualifies it entirely, however it's usually a giveaway that it's not going to meet our standards. For example, lotions are one of the most difficult products to review. People have all different types of skin and what might be super oily for one skin might be just perfect for another. But lotions are some of the most guilty with their fancy use of labels and descriptions, often deceiving the buyer into thinking that the product is healthy. When in fact, very often they are still including all sorts of dangerous ingredients. Just look on our list of dangerous ingredients to avoid when buying a skin care product.
